POSITION OVERVIEW
The Accounting Manager will oversee accounting and reporting for Invenshure and its portfolio of start-up companies. This is a high-impact position and the person who fills it will play an essential role. Invenshure is a dynamic organization with a sharp focus on managing and monitoring the financial performance of the organization on nearly a real-time basis.

The Accounting Manager will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The main responsibilities for the Accounting Manager will be:
Manage and/or execute the following for Invenshure and its portfolio companies:
Accounting & reporting
Month-end close processes
Account reconciliations
Accounts payable & expense reimbursements
Accounts receivable & collections
Payroll via third-party provider
Insurance coverage via third-party providers
Maintaining capitalization tables
Tax requests for third-party tax preparation
Due diligence requests from investors and acquirers
Other projects & initiatives with the Chief Financial Officer
Collaboration with Financial Planning & Analysis department
REQUIREMENTS
The job requires exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to generate trust and confidence in a short amount of time. Success in this role requires cross-functional collaboration with the internal parties necessary to drive results, strong communication, and tenacity to manage and influence.
Essential Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or another quantitative discipline
3+ years of demonstrated experience in accounting
Ability to manage and maintain a general ledger
Ability to execute and improve efficient month-end accounting closes
Ability to generate financial statements in accordance with US GAAP
Technical accounting research skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Evidence of advanced problem-solving, innovative thinking, and strategic planning to deliver creative solutions
Ability to work collaboratively on multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment with strong time management and organizational skills
Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication, and analytical skills with a meticulous attention to detail
Must be able to perform in a high-pressure environment, and be able to meet tight deadlines
Bonus Qualifications:
Active or inactive CPA designation
Both public accounting and industry accounting experience
Systems implementation experience
Internal control design experience
Proficiency in QuickBooks
